On January 26th 2007, the Cherry Hill Police Department graduated two new K-9 teams from the Philadelphia K-9 Academy.

On June 25th 2007, Mayor Bernie Platt swore in ten new officers into the Cherry Hill Police Department's fraternity of crime fighters.

On July 26, the LoJack Corporation donated eight vehicle recovery its to the Cherry Hill Police Department to provide assistance for auto thefts.

Over the last two months the Cherry Hill Police Department has added five new officers to the finest law enforcement body in New Jersey.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is collaborating with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) on a transportation study of the Route 70 corridor from the Airport Circle to the Marlton Circle
